The engagement
It starts by reading history. It ends with the company running itself.
An engagement moves from explaining your past cases to carrying your live work, one deliberately bounded stage at a time. Here is the whole path, including what it asks of you.
Your side of it
What the work asks of you.
The early phases spend your knowledge, not your operating time, and they are designed so the spending declines. Three things are genuinely required.
ACCESS, UNDER AGREED SCOPE
Read access to the systems and records where the company actually operates, defined in writing, with permission, confidentiality, and revocation settled before anything sensitive moves. The security page covers this.
EXPLANATION, AGAINST REAL CASES
Eumen will bring you specific cases where the record alone cannot explain the call. Minutes of conversation at a time, grounded in one trace, instead of workshops and questionnaires.
CORRECTION, WHILE TRUST BUILDS
In the comparison and approval stages you will review proposals and fix what is wrong. Every correction is compiled back into the system, which is why the review load falls instead of becoming a second job.
The path
Nine stages, per function, in the open.
This ladder runs separately for each class of work, so one function can be two stages ahead of another. Nothing skips a stage, and nothing advances on a calendar; the evidence advances it.
ONE COMPANY, THREE FUNCTIONS, THREE STAGES AT ONCE
-
RECONSTRUCTION
The system learns to explain your past cases from the evidence that existed at the time. Your operating history becomes episodes; your judgment starts being recovered.
-
REPLAY
It handles historical and held-out cases without seeing what you actually decided or how they turned out. Disagreements become questions, and questions become recovered context.
-
LIVE COMPARISON
Current cases run in parallel: the responsible person still decides, the successor decides alongside, and the deltas are studied.
-
SHADOW OPERATION
The full path runs end to end, with no external effects created. The system proves it can carry the whole case, not just the decision.
-
DRAFT AND APPROVAL
Real work is prepared and waits at a defined commitment boundary. You, or the person you designate, release it, often through a one-line exchange with Eumen.
-
BOUNDED AUTHORITY
An explicit written decision permits exact kinds of external effects, inside limits that cap what any single action can commit or spend. The successor acts, and every effect is independently verified.
-
RESPONSIBILITY TRANSFER
A separate, deliberate decision makes the successor the accountable owner of exact supported work. Unsupported work remains assigned to people, visibly.
-
EXPANDED OWNERSHIP
Additional transfers move more triggers, objectives, exceptions, and cross-functional dependencies. Different functions occupy different stages at the same time.
-
SUSTAINED INDEPENDENCE
The record shows the company staying inside its outcome, intervention, continuity, and recovery bounds without you returning as the hidden fallback.
Three decisions stay separate on purpose: releasing a capability, granting it authority, and transferring responsibility. Each one is explicit, each can be narrowed or revoked, and you hold the pen. Read the sixteen constraints the architecture keeps.
After the handoff
Managed operation is where the evidence compounds.
Once live work is running, EUMENON operates the successor: watching early live work, capturing corrections, testing decision coverage, investigating errors, and moving supported classes of work toward independent authority.
The operating conversation continues through Eumen, and the record keeps accruing: verified effects, escalations, interventions, outcomes joined back to decisions. That record is the substance a diligence process, a lender, or a family successor will eventually read, and it is what the commercial tests are measured against. What counts as proof has its own page.

The economics are as deliberate as the staging.
Three numbers, one of them contingent on your measured results. The complete structure is on the offer page, and the fit screen gives you a private first read on whether the path fits your company.
